How to request deletion

1. Send an email to hello@novaluminastudio.com from an address you can access (or ask a parent/guardian to email on your behalf if you are under the age required in your country).
2. Include:
   • That you want your Word Master account and associated data deleted;
   • Your platform: Android or iOS;
   • Your in-app display name (Settings → player name), if you set one;
   • If you linked Google Play Games or Game Center, include that account’s display name;
   • Any other detail that helps us locate your cloud profile (for example, approximate last play date).
3. We will confirm receipt and complete deletion within 30 days (usually sooner).

Delete data on your device (immediate)

Most Word Master data is stored on your device. You can remove it without waiting for us:

• Android: Settings → Apps → Word Master → Storage → Clear data (or uninstall the app).
• iOS: Delete the app from your device, or Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Word Master → Delete App.

This removes local progress, preferences, and cached data on that device. It does not automatically delete cloud backup or leaderboard entries — use the email request above for that.

What we delete

When we process a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymise account-linked data we control, including:

• Cloud save profile (Firestore users/{account}): display name, scores, levels, lives, tokens, streaks, mission progress, and linked platform IDs;
• Push notification token (FCM) stored for your account;
• Daily leaderboard entries associated with your account or display name;
• Firebase Authentication record tied to your Play Games / Game Center link (if applicable).

What we may keep (and for how long)

• Aggregated analytics (Firebase Analytics, Google AdMob): anonymised usage statistics already processed by Google may remain under Google’s retention policies. We do not receive personal identifiers from those reports after deletion.
• Crash and performance diagnostics (Firebase Crashlytics / Performance): anonymised technical logs may be retained by Google for up to 90 days for stability purposes.
• Legal and security records: minimal records of the deletion request itself may be kept for up to 24 months to demonstrate compliance with privacy laws and prevent abuse.
• Backups: encrypted backups that include your data are purged within 90 days of deletion from live systems.

We do not sell personal data. After deletion, we stop using your account data for gameplay, cloud sync, or marketing.
