Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Word Master (the "App"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

1. About the App

Word Master is a mobile word puzzle game provided for personal, non-commercial entertainment. We may improve, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App from time to time, including to comply with legal, operational, or security requirements.

2. Eligibility

You must have legal capacity to enter into binding terms under applicable law. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the App with permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

The App is not directed at children below the lawful age threshold set by applicable law.

3. License grant and restrictions

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for personal use and in compliance with applicable app store rules.

You must not, except where expressly permitted by mandatory law:

• copy, modify, adapt, distribute, sublicense, lease, sell, or reverse engineer the App;
• remove or alter intellectual property notices;
• use bots, scripts, exploits, or unauthorized automation to manipulate gameplay;
• use the App in a way that is unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful to us, users, or third parties.

4. Player names and user-provided content

If the App allows you to enter a player name or similar text, you remain responsible for what you submit. You must not submit content that is unlawful, threatening, hateful, defamatory, obscene, misleading, or infringing of third-party rights.

We may restrict or remove content or access where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms or comply with applicable law.

5. Fair play, integrity, and security

You agree not to interfere with normal operation of the App, including score tampering, unauthorized progression changes, or abuse of vulnerabilities.

We may apply technical integrity checks, anti-abuse controls, and enforcement actions (including suspension of features or access) where abuse is detected.

6. Intellectual property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including software, design, text, graphics, logos, game systems, and original puzzle content, remain owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

No rights are granted to you other than the limited license in Section 3.

7. Third-party services

The App may use or link to third-party services (for example, app store infrastructure, sharing tools, or external content). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

8. Service availability and warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that all defects will be corrected.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or opportunity, arising from use of or inability to use the App.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability will be limited to the amount paid by you (if any) for use of the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

This clause applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

10. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or misuse of the App.

11. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or material breach of these Terms.

Sections that should survive by nature (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Where legally required, we will provide notice in-app, via store listing updates, or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of those Terms.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution (Kenya)

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with:

• the Constitution of Kenya, 2010; and
• the applicable laws of Kenya.

Subject to any mandatory dispute forum provided by law, the courts of Kenya shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or connected with these Terms or the App.

If any part of this section conflicts with non-excludable consumer rights under applicable law, those rights will prevail to that extent.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional in-app legal notices, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
